  • Publication number: 20140188630
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media are provided for altering clearing price logic at auction time. Configurable parameters included in the clearing price logic make the logic configurable at run time based upon one or more of an ad size, the identity of the pages on which ads are presented, the content of the pages on which ads are presented, a targeting segment of which a user or browser ID is a member, or any combination thereof. This enables experimentation in the exchange and optimization of the logic without requiring alterations in the code and ensures that the price paid is at least equivalent to the minimum bid that would have been needed to win the auction.

  • Publication number: 20140100968
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media are provided for determining configurable auction parameters based upon historic auction information that includes identities of auction participants or bidders. Such configurable auction parameters specify values to be applied for particular auction parameters (e.g., floor price), at the time of an auction for available advertising space, when one or more of the auction participants are associated with specified identities. Further provided are systems and methods for, at the time of an auction for available advertising space, determining auction parameter values in accordance with configurable auction parameters.

  • Publication number: 20140035792
Abstract: A panel antenna includes a microstrip-fed radiator array, each radiator being a crossed dipole, with the monopoles of the dipole being loops that are electrically closed and hybrid coupled to the adjacent loops within the radiator. The loops are spaced away from a ground plane by approximately a quarter wavelength, using support straps that function as mechanical supports and couplers from the microstrip feed. Each four loops and four support straps and a base can be cast as a single piece, for example, since the shorted ends of the support straps are a quarter wavelength away from the loops. The feed system uses asymmetric microstrip power dividers to provide branch feed to the dipoles. Coupling between the feed and the loops uses the support straps and terminates in a stub that defines the impedance.

  • Publication number: 20050205397
Abstract: An linear motion compensator for translating a particular amount of linear movement produced by an input device into a particular amount of linear movement required to properly operate an output device, without causing damage to either the input device or the output device.

  • Patent number: 4951018
Abstract: An electromagnetic contactor includes a housing assembly that may be adapted for one, two, three or four poles. An armature is affixed to a contact carrier either by a flat leaf spring that passes through a slot in a laminated armature or by a press fit of a solid armature into the contact carrier. In one embodiment of the invention, a housing assembly snaps into a base to permit a maximum amount of automatic asssembly and a minimum number of components. These components include a base, a magnet assembly having at least one shading coil, a formed coil assembly, two symmetrically disposed springs to return a contact carrier to a neutral position when the coil is de-energized, an armature to complete the magnetic circuit that is attached to the contact carrier, a contact block that supports terminals and stationary contacts, and a contact carrier that carries one or more moving contacts into engagement with the fixed contacts.
