Abstract: An elastomeric bandage device includes an elastomeric bandage that can be wrapped around a user's body such that the elastomeric bandage extends over a wound in the user's body. An adhesive layer is applied to the elastomeric bandage to adhere to the user's body when the elastomeric bandage is wrapped around the user's body. A pad is attached to the elastomeric bandage at a connection point such that the pad is inhibited from being stretched when the elastomeric bandage is stretched. In this way the pad remains positioned over the wound when the elastomeric bandage is wrapped over the wound. The pad is comprised of a fluid absorbent material to absorb bodily fluids from the wound.

Abstract: Lock off assemblies for trimmers are provided. A trimmer includes a working head; a handle assembly connected to the working head by a connecting member; a trigger connected to the handle assembly and movable between an off position and an on position, wherein the trigger being in the on position causes actuation of the working head; and a lock off assembly. The lock off assembly includes a switch connected to the handle assembly and movable between a safe position and an operate position; and a pivotable extension pivotably connected to the switch, wherein the pivotable extension contacts and blocks the trigger when the switch is in the safe position and the trigger is moved from the off position towards the on position, and wherein the trigger is free to move between the off position and the on position when the switch is in the operate position.

Abstract: Systems and methods for managing human resources are provided. In one embodiment, a resource management system includes a network resource management server including at least one database containing data related to human resources and at least one resource management system application. The resource management system may further include business rules that, when applied to the human resource data, generates an action. Access to the system can be provided to both an employer and employee by telephone or electronically for efficient and standardized processing of a leave request.
