    Abstract: A first set of input features related to wells and a set of output characteristics related to the wells may be obtained. For each of a plurality of operational wells, input factor values for the input features of the respective operational wells and output characteristic values for the output characteristics of the respective operational wells may also be obtained. At least some of the input factor values and output characteristic values may be compared. Based on the comparison, a second set of input features that influence the output characteristics may be determined. The second set may be a subset of the first set.
