  • Publication number: 20240094233
Abstract: The present invention relates to methods, devices and systems for associating consumable data with an assay consumable used in a biological assay. Provided are assay systems and associated consumables, wherein the assay system adjusts one or more steps of an assay protocol based on consumable data specific for that consumable. Various types of consumable data are described, as well as methods of using such data in the conduct of an assay by an assay system. The present invention also relates to consumables (e.g., kits and reagent containers), software, data deployable bundles, computer-readable media, loading carts, instruments, systems, and methods, for performing automated biological assays.

  • Publication number: 20070194564
Abstract: A trailer and method of assembling a trailer is disclosed. A trailer or motor vehicle may include a frame having fabricated beams. The beams generally include a web section and a pair of opposing flanges. The flanges may be I-shaped or T-shaped, and include web-receiving slots. The flanges may also include obtuse ends along the flange portions thereof, which may also include recesses for cross-member securing fasteners. Top and bottom portions of the web are inserted into the web-receiving slot of a flange and secured therein by a plurality of fasteners. The fasteners for may comprise self-piercing rivets. Because the beams maybe assembled solely with fasteners and without welds, the web and flanges may be pre-coated to provide a finished beam upon assembly. Consequently, the entire frame may be assembled with fasteners, and consequently, may be shipped in pieces and assembled with fasteners at a remote location.

  • Patent number: 7249754
Abstract: A stabilizing jack (10) for securement to the underside of a recreational vehicle. The jack includes a channel frame (25) formed with longitudinal trunnion flanges. A longitudinal screw (50) is rotatably mounted in the channel and drives a trunnion (38) that rides between the trunnion flanges (22a, 22b). A support leg (30) is rotatably connected to the trunnion. Rotation of the screw drives the trunnion towards an outboard end of the jack and lowers the support leg to its supporting position.
