  • Patent number: 10473577
Abstract: A system (1) for detecting microscopic objects located in a flowing fluid. It comprises a lighting system (205, 305) comprising at least one LED diode (605) for supplying light to the flowing fluid; an image capture system (201, 601) configured to capture a sequence of images of the fluid. The image capture system comprises a camera comprising a plurality of pixels. The sequence of images is processed and the presence and shape of microscopic objects is determined. The lighting system (205, 305) is configured to supply high power light pulses having amplitude Io? and very short time duration TON, the time instant at which said pulses are triggered being synchronized with the time instants at which pixels in the image capture system (601) start to capture an image frame.

  • Patent number: 10184887
Abstract: A system for monitoring at least one parameter of a fluid contained in a container includes a measuring device based on near-infrared spectroscopy designed to be submerged in the cited fluid to be monitored and to take measurements of the fluid. The measuring device includes a measuring area. The monitoring system includes a flotation system joined to the measuring device. The flotation system is arranged, during the use of the monitoring system, floating on the fluid to be monitored such that the measuring area of the measuring device is submerged in the fluid at a constant depth with respect to the level of fluid in the container, such that all the measurements taken by the measuring device are taken at the same depth with respect to the level of the fluid.
