  • Publication number: 20240389102
Abstract: A method for computing an estimated data availability for UCI (Uplink Control Information) in an LTE or 5G system enables a base station (e.g., eNodeB or gNodeB) to estimate how much data is available within its allocated PUSCH (Physical Uplink Shared Channel) data for the UCI data. The method enables a UE to insert a sufficient amount of UCI data without consuming resources required for the PUSCH data, thereby preventing decode failures.
