  • Publication number: 20230348030
Abstract: A safety device is for securing a threaded connection between a gas cylinder and an actuator of an inflatable life vest, where the gas cylinder has an elongated cylindrical outer surface in respect to its longitudinal axis and a threaded end portion configured to be connected to a corresponding threading of said actuator, and the safety device has a capsule body forming an internal compartment configured to receive the gas cylinder, wherein the internal compartment has a form conforming to the outer cylindrical surface of the gas cylinder with a clearance between the capsule body and the outer cylindrical surface of the gas cylinder. The capsule body is configured to revolve around the longitudinal axis of the gas cylinder when the gas cylinder is connected to the actuator.

  • Patent number: 11148771
Abstract: A connection device is for connecting a compressed gas cylinder to an inflatable device. The connection device has a releaser providing a fluid connection between the compressed gas cylinder and the inflatable device. The releaser has a primary activation mechanism for controlled puncture of the compressed gas cylinder via a piston provided with a bunching dart. The primary activation mechanism has means for axially displacement of the piston towards the compressed gas cylinder. The releaser further has: a rotatable adapter with means for irreversible fastening of the compressed gas cylinder to the adapter; a secondary trigger device adapted for puncturing the compressed gas cylinder, the secondary trigger device having a displacing means for axially displacing a trigger towards the compressed gas cylinder, where the secondary trigger device is in an activated position when the adapter is in an axially displaced position.

  • Publication number: 20200189755
Abstract: A connection device is for connecting a compressed gas cylinder to an inflatable device. The connection device includes a releaser with an activation mechanism for controlled puncture of the compressed gas cylinder. The connection device further includes: an outer sleeve for being fastened into the releaser by turning in a first direction; and an inner sleeve for being fastened into the outer sleeve by turning of the inner sleeve in a second direction and for the compressed gas cylinder to be fastened into said inner sleeve by rotation of the compressed gas cylinder in the first direction. The connection device is configured such that turning of the compressed gas cylinder in the second direction will result in axial displacement and puncture of the compressed gas cylinder.

  • Patent number: 6964569
Abstract: A pneumatic dental care device for private use which by means of a combination of air, liquid and powder at high pressure cleans the user's teeth and removes plaque and discoloration. The device consists of a base unit (100) and a hand unit (300) which are connected via a flexible, sheathed tube and wire bundle (200). The base unit contains a microcompressor (120), a liquid container (130) and a powder container (140). Liquid and/or powder are discharged at high pressure through an exchangeable nozzle unit (400) on the hand unit. The nozzle unit consists of one or more flexible (bendable) jet stems (401). The microprocessor, the powder container and the liquid container can be replaced by an exchangeable compressed air tank and/or pressurized liquid and/or powder containers in different configurations. The components of the device can also be integrated into a hand-held unit.
