  • Patent number: 11519540
Abstract: A greaseless pivot center swivel and bearing device includes an outer housing having a sidewall with top and bottom portions, a top plate coupled with the top portion that includes an opening therein, and a bottom plate coupled with the bottom portion that includes an opening therein. The sidewall cooperates with the top and bottom plates to define an interior volume. A single, unitary bushing member formed of a low-friction material is positioned within the interior volume and includes a surface cylindrically curved about an axis extending between the top and bottom plates of the housing. The cylindrically curved surface cooperates with the openings in the top and bottom plates to define a cylindrical passage through the interior volume sized and shaped for receiving a cylindrical tube that rotates therein, e.g., a tube configured to connect with a water supply column of a mechanized irrigation system.

  • Publication number: 20200315106
Abstract: An irrigation system having a pipeline supported by one or more towers includes an improved truss connection system having a means for readily adjusting a crown height of the pipeline. A pair of cooperating members define a joint which selectively couples headed ends of adjacent truss rods together to form a truss rail of a truss system that supports the pipeline. A single fastener may fasten the cooperating members, a strut, and a cross-member together at the joint. A length of the truss rail may be decreased by holding the truss rods closer together. In an aspect, the headed ends of the adjacent truss rods are held closer together by inserting a shim in one of the joints. Decreasing the length of the truss rail increases the deflection of the pipeline and raises the crown height.

  • Publication number: 20180189381
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to frameworks and methodologies for enabling categorisation and/or searching of digitised information, including clinical report data. Embodiments of the invention have been particularly developed to assist categorisation of digitised information, such as clinical report data, in a streamlined manner based on a pre existing set of classification codes. This, in some embodiments, enables the discovery and extraction of meaningful patterns from unstructured clinical reports. Further embodiments of the invention have been particularly developed to assist in the discovery and extraction of meaningful patterns from an unstructured set of digitised information such as unstructured clinical reports. While some embodiments will be described herein with particular reference to those applications, it will be appreciated that the invention is not limited to such a field of use, and is applicable in broader contexts.

  • Patent number: 9188632
Abstract: Electrical faults are detected in electrical distribution systems (EDS) by detection and location of radio frequency (RF) emissions generated by the fault with multiple time-synchronized radio frequency monitors (RFM) distributed about the EDS. The RFMs are coupled to a self-learning, electrical fault monitor (EFM) that characterizes and/or locates electrical faults based on operating state (OS) patterns learned from transmission of test signals generated within the EDS. RF emissions data samples are characterized as safe operation (SO) states or potential electrical faults by accessing a base of stored knowledge concerning fault emission characteristics and/or synchronized time of arrival at each RFM. Information in the base of stored knowledge is updated to include new EDS operating states (OS).
