The relationship is established based on tracing a chain of causality from drug combination to cardiovascular parameters, described by a linear relationship, and from cardiovascular parameters to cardiovascular metrics, by measuring the direction and sensitivity of the hemodynamic changes caused by the changes to the cardiovascular parameters (which in turn is caused by administration of drugs).
