Patent number: 11414136Abstract: A removably attachable fender flare system has an inner flare and an upper flare and a lower flare, which are removably attachable to the inner flare. The upper and lower flare may have traction protrusions to provide traction to free a stuck off-road vehicle. The inner flare may be in direct contact with and coupled to the off-road vehicle, providing a location to secure the upper and lower flares. The upper flare and lower flare may couple to a groove, which runs the length of the inner flare, from front to back. Further, the lower flare may couple to the upper flare, securing the fender flares.Type: GrantFiled: January 21, 2020Date of Patent: August 16, 2022Inventor: Jon Petty

Publication number: 20180070572Abstract: A container mountable on a fishing rod has a first cylinder and a second cylinder, wherein the second cylinder is at least partially received within the first cylinder and wherein there is a hook opening in each cylinder for receiving a fishing hook, lure, and/or bait. The second cylinder may further have a sidewall slot extending from the hook opening at least partially around the circumference of the second cylinder. The first cylinder may further have two securing arms configured to receive an elastic band for securing to a rod.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 13, 2017Publication date: March 15, 2018Inventors: Kenneth D. Publication number: 20070095422Abstract: A fluid-distribution system includes a plurality of fluid-distribution nodes with three-way ports attached to bleed/flush lines and alternate ports attached to vacuum lines. A first pump is used to draw new brake fluid from a new fluid container, push it through the manifold and ports, and through the bleed/flush lines. Fluid flow through the ports is selectively controlled by a computing device. In this manner, a vehicle's brake system including individual brake lines and ABS systems, may be flushed in a prescribed sequence. The vacuum lines are connected to a second pump via alternate ports of the sequential control valve manifold and may be used evacuated air and contaminated brake fluid from the vehicle's bleeder valves or master cylinder. Additionally, the bleed/flush lines may be connected to the alternate ports during priming or purging of the system. This also facilitates storage of the bleed lines as it prevents brake fluid from spilling and prevents air from entering the system.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 3, 2005Publication date: May 3, 2007Applicant: Phoenix Systems, L.L.C.Inventor: Jon Petty

Publication number: 20060076079Abstract: A Brake Flush Accelerator (BFA) selectively depresses a brake pedal while the master cylinder reservoir is under pressure from a brake flush machine, forcing fluid through the system at a very rapid rate. The BFA also provides a thorough flush as internal hydraulic pressure from the master cylinder can be used to exert force to remove contaminates from the brake system. The BFA exposes the low/no pressure area of the master cylinder to fluid flow from the pressurized master cylinder. When the brake pedal is depressed, a port in the master cylinder is opened which exposes the low/no pressure area of the master cylinder to fluid flow from the pressurized master cylinder reservoir. The BFA receives its pneumatic power from an air compressor or is easily adapted to a car tire. The BFA can be powered directly from the brake flush machine or attached to a vehicle's battery.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 23, 2005Publication date: April 13, 2006Applicant: Phoenix Systems, L.L.C.Inventor: Jon Petty

Publication number: 20050115356Abstract: A Brake Flush Accelerator (“BFA”) automatically depresses a brake pedal while the master cylinder reservoir is under pressure from a brake flush machine, forcing fluid through the system at a very rapid rate. The BFA also provides a thorough flush as internal hydraulic pressure from the master cylinder can be used to exert force to remove contaminates from the brake system. Additionally, the BFA exposes the low/no pressure area of the master cylinder to fluid flow from the pressurized master cylinder. When the brake pedal is depressed, a port in the master cylinder is opened which exposes the low/no pressure area of the master cylinder to fluid flow from the pressurized master cylinder reservoir. This flushes the normally isolated portion of the master cylinder and prevents future contamination. Problems of traditional foot type bleeding or flushing are reduced by accurately controlling the piston stroke and rate of pedal depression and release.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 4, 2004Publication date: June 2, 2005Inventor: Jon Petty
