Abstract: A quick hitch for a three point hitch for a work machine which is quickly and easily configurable without lifting, in at least two width configurations for connection to a three point hitch of a work machine on one side, and to a work element, such as an implement or the like, on an opposite side, including optionally wherein the three point hitch is in a first width configuration and connectors of the work element are in a second width configuration greater than the first, all without requiring changing the vertical spacing between the connections and a upper center connection.

Abstract: A coupler for a hitch such as a quick hitch for a three point hitch of a work machine such as a tractor or the like, having a latching mechanism for holding a pin of a work element such as an implement or the like, in a receptacle of the coupler, which latching mechanism is self-latching and provides a self-locking capability when latched to hold the pin in the coupler, in opposition to, and in response to, forces and movements of the pin in directions for normally opening the coupler.

Abstract: A composite engine enclosure for a tractor or like power-driven implement is disclosed. The enclosure includes a pivotal upper hood which is movable between raised and lowered positions, and at least one associated lower hood panel which cooperates with the other hood for substantially enclosing the engine of the implement. Each of the lower hood panels is provided with a hinging and latching arrangement to permit either pivotal opening movement of each panel, or complete removal of the panel from the implement, as may be required.

Abstract: An improved tractor battery enclosure of the type having a service opening, including walls forming an enclosure, a suspended battery-support floor approximating the size of a battery base and movable between a battery use position and an at least partially offset position, and a door along the lead edge of the floor movable between a closed position and an open position coplanar with the floor, such that a battery may readily be moved with the floor and then along the floor to a full service position in which it is at least partially supported by the door.

Abstract: A pre-cleaning air-intake duct for connection to air cleaners on the internal combustion engines of work vehicles. The duct includes a horizontal distal end portion terminating in an end wall and has an upward opening in the main duct wall. The duct eliminates the need for baffling structures on the vehicle.

Abstract: A tractor vehicle transmission is provided with a two piston brake where each piston operates in opposite directions. A gear is located adjacent the brake which is located in proximity to a wall of the transmission. Thus upon actuation the brake wall contact the gear causing retardation of the gear, its attendant shaft, and the transmission as a whole allowing simpler shifting of the transmission. The piston force against the brake is opposed by a second piston having a spacer means that contacts the transmission wall upon actuation.
