Abstract: A ball valve assembly for a fracturing (frac) fluid end. The ball valve assembly includes a seat that is adapted to engaged with the frac fluid end inside of at least one chamber defined by the frac fluid end. The ball valve assembly also includes a seal that is operably engaged with the seat to prevent fluid from escaping around the seat. The ball valve assembly also includes a ball valve that is operably engageable inside of the seat. During operation, the ball valve is moveable between a seated position and a disengaged position relative to the seat via at least plunger of the frac fluid end to allow the fluid to travel from an intake chamber of the frac fluid end towards a discharge chamber of the frac fluid end.
