  • Patent number: 10446263
Abstract: The present invention relates to methods, devices and systems for associating assay information with an assay consumable used in a biological assay. Provided are assay systems and associated consumables, wherein the assay system includes a reader adapted to read/erase/write information from/to an assay consumable identifier associated with the assay consumable. Various types of assay information are described, as well as methods of using such information in the conduct of an assay by an assay system.

  • Patent number: 5008745
Abstract: A digital motion verification circuit for a television system. The circuit synchronizes an actual and a stored signal from an edge motion indicator with the system clock, so that the edge signals are precisely timed and do not have errors from overlapping or mistimed signals. The circuit uses an EXCLUSIVE OR circuit followed by an inverter stage to produce an output when the clock synchronized stored signal and the actual signal have a discrepancy. This EXCLUSIVE OR output signal is applied to the data input of a shift register that produces clock synchronized output signals which, when accumulated to a predetermined number, initiate a motion flag which indicates the presence of several exactly adjacent signals.

  • Patent number: 4963961
Abstract: A vertical motion detector for a TV system motion detector. The circuit operates by delaying each motion indicator signal by multiple units of the time required for one full horizontal line sweep. If vertical motion occurs, the delayed indicator will output from the delay at the same time another indicator occurs. These signals are fed to multiple AND gates so that several coincident signals are required to produce an alarm. A switching circuit permits selection of the number of vertical motion indicators required for an alarm.
