Abstract: The invention relates to jig apparatus (2) for use in the positioning of a workpiece (22) in which one or more apertures are to be formed using a power tool (25), said jig including at least one elongate member (30, 32, 34), which is extendable from a side of the base (4) of the jig and connected thereto via engagement means (40). A locator (56) is selectively positionable on the elongate member and lockable in the said selected position to allow the workpiece to be located therewith and thereby locate the workpiece in a required position with respect to the jig apparatus.

Abstract: The current invention relates to jig apparatus which is provided of a form to allow accurate positioning and repositioning of the same with respect to workpiece and the use of the jig apparatus to provide a guide for the provision of a drill bit through at least one guide passages therein to form a hole in the workpiece at a required location. In one embodiment the jig apparatus is provided in a form so as to provide a plurality of passages, each of which can be used as a guide for a drill bit to thereby allow a plurality of spaced apart drill holes to be formed in the workpiece without the need to move the jig apparatus with respect to the workpiece. The image is provided for display to a mobile computing device capable of reading the image in the machine-readable format. A message is received from the mobile computing device via the address.
