  • Publication number: 20120273630
Abstract: A device stand including a holder, a holder mount, and a base is disclosed herein. The holder has a back face and is configured to hold a device. A holder mounting lock and a holder electrical connection are located on the back face of the holder. The holder electrical connection is electrically connected to an electronic connection configured to connect to the device. The holder mount includes a mounting lock configured to removably couple to the holder mounting lock. The holder mount also includes an electric connector configured to electrically connect to the holder electrical connection. The holder mount may be attached to the base by an articulation joint. The articulation joint allows a user to manipulate the orientation of the holder in one or more planes for optimal use of a device held within the holder.

  • Patent number: 7359870
Abstract: A technique is provided or integrating system design, sales, and manufacturing functions. Systems including networked and programmable electrical components, such as motor control centers, and other electrical power control arrangements are designed, and a database is created for the design, including component and system designation data. The database may further include configuration information, settings, and so forth. The database is used as a tool in establishing a sales solicitation proposal from which sales of the system are offered. The same database is then used to program the various components of the system, such as through a temporary network link or via a permanent data network once the system is assembled.

  • Publication number: 20070211443
Abstract: A method and product produced includes a power layer board that is manufactured by providing a printed circuit board having an input configured to receive an input power and an output configured to deliver an output power conditioned to power a motor. The method also includes soldering a first component to the printed circuit board. Thereafter, a request to manufacture the power layer board is received that includes parameters of the input power and/or the output power. Therefrom, characteristics of a second component including a resistor, a capacitor, and/or an inductor is identified based on the parameters of the input power and/or the output power. Accordingly, the identified second component is mounted to the printed circuit board through a solder-less cold-weld connector to complete the power layer board.
