  • Patent number: 9324451
Abstract: A device for monitoring process variations across memory bitcells includes a bitcell inverter that provides an output voltage to be used for identifying skewed corners of the memory bitcells. A first comparator compares the output voltage with a first reference voltage, and a second comparator compares the output voltage with a second reference voltage. The first and the second comparators generate a corner code based on comparison results.

Date of Patent: April 26, 2016
    Assignee: Broadcom Corporation
Inventors: Saket Gupta, Yifei Zhang, Carl Monzel, Mark Jon Winter

  • Patent number: 6863460
Abstract: An ink cartridge (1) for a reservoir pen has a body (2) which encloses an ink-chamber (3) that is initially sealed near the front end of the cartridge by a closure formed by a plug (4). The plug (4) sealingly engages in an axial bore (5) which is open to the front end of the cartridge and is slidably mounted in the cartridge body (2) so as to be moved rearwardly by engagement with a peg (34) upon insertion of the cartridge (1) into a pen, thereby allowing ink flow from the ink chamber (3) through the bore (5) and to a writing tip (23) of a nib (22) of the pen. The peg (34) is sized so as to form a seal with the inner surface of the bore (3) when fully inserted thereinto.

  • Pen
    Patent number: 6789975
Abstract: A reservoir pen includes a nib, a feed bar defining an ink channel and having an ink port, and a valve for controlling flow of ink from the ink port to an underside of the nib. The valve includes a seat, a valve member, and a resilient element engaging the valve member to bias the valve member away from the ink port toward an open position. The valve member is further positioned to engage the nib to urge the valve member against the resilient element and into sealing contact with the seat. The resilient member is disposed outside of the ink channel in at least the open position.
