  • Patent number: 11904766
Abstract: A light signal device for a driverless transport system, includes a front element having a plurality of optically transparent light exit openings and at least one light generating unit having a light guide and having two light sources arranged at opposite ends of the light guide. The light guide has a plurality of light decoupling elements in order to emit light through the light exit openings. Light exit openings are arranged on the front element in a plurality of rows and a separate light generating unit is provided for each of the rows. A light signal arrangement for a driverless transport system includes a plurality of such light signal devices. A driverless transport system includes the light signal device and a controller. Use of the light signal device is for visualizing an operating state of a driverless transport system. An operating method for the light signal device is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11578923
Abstract: A heat exchanger comprising at least one fluid tube configured to extend substantially orthogonally to a wind direction, the fluid tube having a first wall and a second wall, and the fluid tube comprising: a first tube section and a second tube section each extending along the fluid tube, arranged such that each tube section is in fluid communication with a pair of manifolds and configured to contain a cooling fluid, wherein the first tube section is formed by the first wall, the second wall, a first outer wall and a first inner wall and the second tube section is formed by the first wall, the second wall, a second outer wall and a second inner wall, the first inner wall, the second inner wall, the first outer wall and the second outer wall extending substantially parallel along the fluid tube in fluid-tight contact with the first wall and the second wall, wherein the heat exchanger is configured to lead the cooling fluid in a first direction in the first tube section and in a second direction in the second t

  • Publication number: 20230038435
Abstract: A method is specified for determining a size of a defect occurring in a surface region of a component while a surface modification process is performed on the surface region. The method includes identifying an occurrence of a defect occurring in a surface region of a component on a basis of a set of images and determining a size of the defect in a separate method step from the occurrence of the defect identified. In addition, an apparatus and a computer program are specified for determining a size of a defect occurring in a surface region of a component while a surface modification process is performed on the surface region.

  • Publication number: 20220228816
Abstract: The present invention relates to a dual media safety heat exchanger comprising a first medium chamber configured to allow a first medium flow through the first medium chamber, a second medium chamber configured to allow a second medium flow through the second medium chamber and an intermediate chamber arranged between the first medium chamber and the second medium chamber and being configured to separate the first medium chamber from the second medium chamber so that the first medium is prevented from being mixed with the second medium or vice versa in the circumstance of a leak within the safety heat exchanger.
