  • Publication number: 20070245466
Abstract: Headgear and head suspension system adapted to support an object with a head of a wearer. A flexible circumferential band has an anterior portion and a posterior portion, at least a portion of the anterior portion of the flexible circumferential band having a replaceable headband bridge having a particular configuration. A configuration of the head suspension system may be modified by replacing the replaceable headband bridge with another headband bridge of a different configuration.

  • Publication number: 20070245467
Abstract: Headgear adapted to protect a wearer having a visor and a flexible circumferential band adapted to be supported by a head of the wearer. A mounting attachment attaches the visor to the flexible circumferential band at each of two side attachment locations with the visor generally positioned in front of a face of the wearer. The mounting attachment has a slide channel associated with the flexible circumferential band and a slide associated with the visor. The slide is able to slide forward and aft in the slide channel with respect to the face of the wearer and is selectively securable in a plurality of forward and aft positions. This allows the visor to be adjusted inwardly and outwardly with respect to the face of the wearer.

  • Patent number: 6689101
Abstract: An injector device for delivery of liquid from a high pressure, the device comprising a housing, a pressure chamber 2 comprising a pressure barrel 4 for accommodation of at least one piston therein and having a front end opening 6 for ejection of the liquid, the pressure chamber being of sufficient strength to sustain the liquid pressure. The device further comprises a storage chamber 16, separate from the pressure chamber, for the liquid or the liquid precursor components, and a conduit 22 between the pressure chamber and the storage chamber. A pressurizing mechanism 26 in the housing is arranged to apply force, directly or indirectly, on the piston in the pressure barrel to create said liquid pressure.

  • Patent number: 6599272
Abstract: Injector devices and methods for their operation for containers having an opening with or for an injection needle. The container is optionally of syringe type with a barrel of substantially constant axial cross-section. In one embodiment, the devices include a penetration arrangement operable to move the needle from a rear position to a forward position, an injection arrangement operable at least to expel container content through the needle, and a transmission and a switch system allowing manual energy applied to the device to manually operate the penetration arrangement and then manually operate the injection arrangement.

  • Patent number: 6558395
Abstract: A device for deforming and ejecting a deformable intraocular lens for insertion into a small incision in an eye, the device comprising a) a housing, b) a lens transporting duct in a front part of the housing defining a duct axis, the duct having a front end with a cross-section adapted to the lens in deformed state with small maximum dimensions transversal to the duct axis, a rear lens-receiving end with a cross-section adapted for the lens in un-deformed state, or less deformed state, than at the front end, with larger maximum dimensions lateral to the duct axis than at the front end and an intermediate convergent duct part between the front and rear ends with a varying cross-section shape, having decreasing maximum dimensions lateral to the duct axis when moving from rear to front in the duct and c) a plunger operative to displace the lens in the duct at least in the forward direction.
