    Abstract: A method and a subscriber identity component for providing a wireless device with connectivity as well as a managing node for managing a request for registration are disclosed. The subscriber identity component performs a set of actions, including providing a primary subscriber identity. The set of actions includes monitoring information related to ciphering of communication to the network. Additionally, the set of action includes monitoring information related to registration of a location of the wireless device. The managing node receives, from the wireless device, the request for registration. When an indication of availability is set to unavailable, the managing node refrains from forwarding the request, and transmits a response indicating that registration is denied.

    Abstract: A method and a subscriber identity component for providing a wireless device with access to a network node are disclosed. The subscriber identity component is provisioned with information defining a set of pools relating to pool subscriber identities. The subscriber identity component determines a pool subscriber identity based on a pool among the set of pools. The subscriber identity component checks a connection state relating to whether or not the wireless device is granted access to the network node by use of the pool subscriber identity. Furthermore, when the connection state indicates that the wireless device is granted access to the network node, the subscriber identity component provides the wireless device with access to the network node based on the pool subscriber identity. Furthermore, a corresponding computer program and a computer program carrier are disclosed.
