  • Patent number: 11479377
Abstract: A capsule filling machine for filling capsules and a cleaning unit for use in a capsule filling machine are disclosed. The capsule filling machine includes at least two processing paths with a plurality of processing stations. One of the processing stations includes a cleaning unit. The cleaning unit has, for each of the at least two processing paths, a leadthrough path with a longitudinal axis for leading through capsules. At least one cleaning element for cleaning the capsules is arranged on each leadthrough path.

  • Patent number: 11279502
Abstract: A powder provisioning device is for a powder doser, in particular for a tamping pin station. The powder provisioning device comprises a powder container, which can be driven in rotation, for receiving a powder bed, and a stationarily mounted smoothing device for the powder bed. The stationarily mounted smoothing device includes a stirring unit having at least one stirrer which projects into the interior of the powder container and can be driven in rotation.

  • Publication number: 20210145748
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a processing system for in particular pharmaceutical powders, and to a method for decontamination of such a processing system. The processing system includes a processing device for the powder, and a closed housing with an inner production space in which the processing device is arranged. The processing system further includes a steam generator via which water vapor is introduced into the production space in such a quantity that air supersaturated with water vapor develops there at least in some parts. Any powder residues present are bound via water since, on account of the supersaturation, water condenses in the production space. The condensed water, including powder residues bound therein, is removed, in particular with the housing opened.

  • Patent number: 10480988
Abstract: A calibration unit is for a capacitive measuring system in a metering installation, or a metering installation for in particular solid pharmaceutical dosage units, and to an associated method for metering. The calibration unit includes a test body, a drive for the test body, and a guide for the test body. The guide has a first terminal position, a second terminal position, and a guided section that runs between the two terminal positions. The drive is configured for moving the test body along the guided section in a reciprocating manner between the two terminal positions. The capacitive measuring system is calibrated via the calibration unit. The dosage units are then metered via the metering installation and checked for a properly metered mass via the calibrated capacitive measuring system.
