Abstract: A method for operating a door actuator of a door system, with at least one movable door leaf and a control device to control a drive of the door leaf, and with a sensor unit with which data of at least one object is recorded in a detection region in front of the door system and at least one item of information about the object is transmitted to the control device. The method includes at least the following steps in the order listed: a) recording object data of the object, b) processing the recorded object data, c) evaluating the processed object data, d) dividing the detection region into first and second partial regions, e) identifying a desire to enter of the object depending on the partial region in which the object data was recorded, and f) opening the door leaf only in the case of an identified desire to enter.

Abstract: A door actuator for a door system with at least one door leaf, with a sensor unit being is configured and connected to a control unit of the door system, with the approach of at least one object to the door system within a detection region being detectable by the sensor unit, with the control unit configured to provide to the sensor unit deactivation data for deactivating the detection of the at least one object in at least one defined partial region of the detection region and/or to hide, delete and/or filter out object data, detected by means of the sensor unit, of at least one detected object in a defined partial region of the detection region. A door system for carrying out such a method and a computer program product are also related.

Abstract: A door system with a door actuator, includes at least one door leaf, and a sensor unit configured and connected to a control unit of the door system, with the approach of an object to the door system within a detection region being detected by the sensor unit, in particular designed as a radar sensor or as a camera. The method includes at least the following steps: determining for the first time at least one first object position of the object within the detection region, determining for the second time at least one subsequent second object position of the object within the detection region, calculating an object vector based on the determined first and second object positions and opening the at least one door leaf depending on the properties of the calculated object vector. A door actuator for carrying out the method and a computer program product are also related.
