  • Patent number: 11968586
Abstract: A network node of a wireless communication network provides information to a User Equipment (UE) that allows the UE to adapt it radio measurements with respect to the network, to account for “link changes.” Link changes are service-link and/or feeder-link changes arising from motion by the satellite(s) included in the Radio Access Network (RAN) portion of the network. The UE uses the provided information to adapt its radio measurements in conjunction with the link changes. Among the several advantages of accounting for satellite link changes in the manner contemplated are any one or more of reduced signaling going between the UE and the network, reduced battery consumption at the UE, mitigation of the effects of the link changes on the radio measurements, avoidance of spurious measurements, and an effective “automation” of the timed changeover by the UE to new measurement configurations, coincident with the occurrence of link changes.

  • Publication number: 20240080092
Abstract: A method (1000) performed by a wireless device (110) includes obtaining (1002) location information associated with the wireless device and/or ephemeris data for one or more satellite cells. The wireless device receives (1004) a measurement configuration to measure reference signals from the one or more satellite cells. The measurement configuration includes at least one measurement window. The wireless device determines (1006) whether to select a measurement window for the one or more satellite cells based on the location information associated with the wireless device and/or ephemeris data of the one or more satellite cells.

  • Publication number: 20240073963
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method (1300) in a network device. The method (1300) includes: determining (s1310) a RACH configuration according to at least one random access procedure, wherein the RACH configuration comprises a preamble mapping indication indicating mapping of RACH preambles to SSBs and a SSB mapping indication indicating mapping of SSBs to ROs; transmitting (s1320) the RACH configuration; and receiving (s1330) a RACH preamble which is transmitted according to the RACH configuration from a terminal device.

  • Patent number: 6354680
Abstract: A computer enclosure includes a base and a side panel attached to the base. The side panel includes a plastic bezel and a shielding plate attached to the plastic bezel. The plastic bezel forms a latch proximate a rear end thereof which includes a body and a ledge extending from the body proximate the central portion of the body for engaging with an inner surface of the base.

  • Patent number: 6275387
Abstract: A light emitting device mounting bracket includes a body and mounting hooks for fixing the bracket to a computer enclosure. The body defines a hole for mounting a light emitting device, a turret with a snap being formed at one side of the hole and a battlement being formed around an opposite side of the hole. The light emitting device is inserted into the hole by pressing on a bottom thereof, a flange of the light emitting device abutting a stopping surface of the battlement when fully inserted, and the snap of the turret engaging the bottom of the light emitting device. The mounting hooks engage with corresponding holes in a front panel of the computer enclosure, thereby mounting the light emitting device bracket to the panel of the computer system.

  • Patent number: 6160232
Abstract: A push button assembly adapted to be mounted to a bezel includes a button body and a pair of anchoring members arranged on opposite sides of the button body and connected to the button body by resilient arms for resiliently supporting the button body. Each anchoring member forms a plurality of ledges for being interferentially inserted into and engaging with a corresponding hole defined in the bezel thereby mounting the button body to the bezel. The bezel defines a bore through which a post extending from the button body extends for being accessible to a user. The button body has an inner end adapted to drivingly engage with a switch whereby when the post is depressed, the button body moves under the resilient support of the resilient arms to engage with and thus actuate the switch.
