  • Publication number: 20260217353
Abstract: A modular cooling assembly is configured to cool at least a first component of an electrically powered marine propulsion system when the cooling assembly is connected to at least a first component cooling conduit of the marine propulsion system. The cooling assembly has a primary cooling arrangement comprising a cooling fluid conduit and a cooling fluid pump, the cooling fluid conduit comprising an inlet to be connected to a first end of the first component cooling conduit, and an outlet to be connected to a second end of the first component cooling conduit, a secondary cooling arrangement comprising a secondary inlet, a secondary outlet, and a heat exchanger, the secondary cooling arrangement being arranged to cool the first cooling fluid conduit, a frame arrangement.

  • Publication number: 20250206427
Abstract: A marine propulsion system for a marine vessel having a vessel speed, has an electric motor providing torque and rotational speed, the torque and rotational speed being motor data of the electric motor. A drive unit is pivotable in relation to the marine vessel, the drive unit being powered by the electric motor. A trim arrangement adjusts a trim angle of the drive unit. A control unit being is connected with the electric motor and the trim arrangement, the control unit receives motor data from the electric motor and trim data from the trim arrangement. The control unit has a processing circuitry for comparing the motor data with the trim data. The control unit is configured to actively adjust the trim angle of the drive unit based on the motor data whereby an energy consumption of the electric motor at the same vessel speed can be optimized at any condition of the marine vessel.

  • Patent number: 12233888
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for controlling a control system of a vehicle having a first driver support module (e.g. ADAS feature) and a second driver support module (e.g. “under-development” ADS feature). The first driver support module and the second driver support module are capable of operation within an overlapping operational design domain (ODD). The method includes obtaining sensor data including information about a surrounding environment of the vehicle and determining fulfilment of the overlapping ODD based on the obtained sensor data. Further, if the overlapping ODD is fulfilled, the method includes switching between a first configuration where the first driver support module is active and the second driver support module is inactive, and a second configuration where the first driver support module is inactive and the second driver support module is active.

  • Publication number: 20240343365
Abstract: A propulsion system for a marine vessel is presented. The propulsion system comprising a propulsion unit that is rotatably attached to the marine vessel about an axis, a rotary drive arranged to rotate the propulsion unit about the axis by applying a torque about the axis, and a slip clutch assembly operationally arranged between the propulsion unit and the rotary drive to allow a rotational motion between the propulsion unit and the rotary drive about the axis in case the propulsion unit impacts an obstacle.
