  • Patent number: 7862894
Abstract: A material composition for play or modelling purposes includes a particulate material and a binder which is disposed as thin layers on the particles. T-he binder includes a hydroxy-terminated polymer cross-linked by a boron compound, in particular a silicone oil. The concentration of particles is 90-98 vol % of the finished composition. A method for producing the material composition includes placing the particles in a mixer, adding the hydroxyl-terminated polymer, in particular silicone oil, and distributing it as thin layers on the surfaces of the particles and, thereafter, adding a boron-containing cross-linking agent in solution and mixing so that a cross-linking of the polymer takes place and the viscosity increases.

  • Patent number: 7582354
Abstract: A material composition comprises, on the one hand, a particulate material and, on the other hand, a binder which is provided as a coating on the material particles. The binder has at least two solid phases (13, 14), of which one harder phase (14) is configurationally stable and a softer phase (13) is plastic and readily deformable at temperatures below the melting point of the binder. A method for producing the above material comprises the steps that at least two components included in the binder are melted and mixed, whereafter kneading takes place during cooling. The material composition is usable, for example, as a play material, educational material, for sculptures or prototypes or as landscape architectonic material.

  • Patent number: 6196477
Abstract: The present invention relates to a spray device which comprises a nozzle for ejecting a jet of fluid. According to the invention, the spray device comprises a nozzle holder which is adapted to be gripped manually when using the spray device and which is movable relative to the nozzle essentially in parallel with the direction of the jet of fluid. The spray device further comprises a valve which is connected in front of the nozzle and is adapted to open when moving the nozzle holder in the direction of the jet of fluid relative to the nozzle. The nozzle is biased in the direction of the jet of fluid relative to the nozzle holder and the relative position of the nozzle holder to the nozzle is affected by the reaction power of the jet of fluid.
