  • Publication number: 20190019142
Abstract: A method of estimating a temperature history of a product transported in a shipping enclosure, the method including measuring an actual ending temperature of the product, acquiring ambient temperature data of the shipping enclosure, creating a plurality of simulated trips based in part on the ambient air temperature data of the shipping enclosure, wherein each of the plurality of simulated trips includes an estimated ending product temperature value, and determining whether the difference between the estimated ending product temperature value and the actual temperature of the product is within a temperature threshold.

  • Publication number: 20160265980
Abstract: A system for modeling temperature changes of a product by measuring temperatures of other entities, such as ambient air. A conductance calculation is utilized that describes a relationship between the difference between the logs of temperature differences and the amount of time passed. A method for utilizing the conductance, as well as a method for generating a conductance based on measurements, such as empirical measurements.

  • Publication number: 20130289928
Abstract: A method of generating a risk-controlled ambient temperature profile including measuring a distribution network and constructing an ambient temperature profile based on results of the measuring by determining a length of the ambient temperature profile, determining a target risk or target failure rate, and generating at least one of hot and cold versions of the ambient temperature profile in accordance with the determined length that facilitate minimization of package expense while achieving the target risk or target failure rate.

  • Patent number: 8533125
Abstract: A system and method of analyzing transportation data includes receiving a transportation data set including transportation data corresponding to at least one item. A portion of the transportation data is converted into an event string, which includes a plurality of event symbols corresponding to a plurality of transportation events. The event string is selectively filtered according to a query to produce a filtered event string, and transportation data associated with the filtered event string may be reported.

  • Patent number: 7937280
Abstract: A system (10) for planning and scheduling service events for one or more assets includes a demand optimizer engine (12) that receives information regarding future service requirements for an asset and operating characteristics of the asset. The demand optimizer engine (12) also generates a service plan identifying one or more planned service events during which one or more services are to be performed on the asset and identifying a planned start time and a planned end time for each service event so as to minimize the amount of time the asset is non-operational and the costs associated with each service event. The system (10) also includes a supply optimizer engine (14) that receives the service plan from the demand optimizer engine (12) and generates a service schedule for one or more of the planned service events based on information regarding the flow of one or more parts used in conjunction with the services of each planned service event.

  • Patent number: 7139719
Abstract: A product development scheduler uses a distributed, constraint based system for modeling allocation of resources. All resources for all active development projects are provided at a central location, so that resources are not allocated twice across different projects. Real time availability of resources allows accurate modeling, and changes in resource status are reflected by the scheduler. Availability of materials are tracked through the supply chain to ensure true availability for planning purposes.
