  • Patent number: 11621080
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate generally to non-invasive methods and tests that measure biomarkers (e.g., tumor antigens) and collect clinical parameters from patients, and computer-implemented machine learning methods, apparatuses, systems, and computer-readable media for assessing a likelihood that a patient has a disease, relative to a patient population or a cohort population. In one embodiment, a classifier is generated using a machine learning system based on training data from retrospective data and subset of inputs (e.g. at least two biomarkers and at least one clinical parameter), wherein each input has an associated weight and the classifier meets a predetermined Receiver Operator Characteristic (ROC) statistic, specifying a sensitivity and a specificity, for correct classification of patients.

  • Publication number: 20230052270
Abstract: A method for calculating a distance between a vehicle camera and an object, the method may include: (a) obtaining an image that was acquired by the vehicle camera of a vehicle; the image captures the horizon, the object, and road lane boundaries; (b) determining an initial row-location horizon estimate and a row-location contact point estimate, the contact point is between the object and a road on which the vehicle is positioned; (c) determining a vehicle camera roll angle correction that once applied will cause the lanes boundaries to be parallel to each other in the real world; (d) calculating a new row-location horizon estimate, wherein the calculating comprises updating the row-location horizon estimate based on the vehicle camera roll angle correction; and (e) calculating the distance between the vehicle camera based on a difference between the new row-location horizon estimate and the row-location contact point estimate.

  • Patent number: 11467998
Abstract: Techniques for low-latency packet processing are disclosed. A network device receives a first set of write transactions including a first set of data segments corresponding to a first DMA descriptor from a host. The network device receives a second set of write transactions including a second set of data segments corresponding to a second DMA descriptor from the host. The network device detects that the first set of data segments have been written. In response to detecting that the first set of data segments have been written, and prior to completely writing the second set of data segments and to receiving a packet notifier from the host, the network device processes the first DMA descriptor.

  • Patent number: 11386008
Abstract: A memory apparatus for detecting false hits in a content-addressable memory (CAM) is disclosed. The memory apparatus includes a controller coupled to the CAM and a memory. The controller receives a search result including an address from the CAM, the address corresponding to a matching entry from a first set of data entries that matches a search tag. The controller provides a read address based on the address to the memory, which returns a second data entry from a second set of data entries corresponding to the read address. The controller receives the read data and generates an error detection result based on a comparison between the second data entry and the search tag.

  • Publication number: 20220129322
Abstract: Systems, methods, and machine-readable media for predicting interruptions to the use of spare cloud resources and rebalancing based on those predictions are disclosed. A computing platform collects data for customers over time. The computing platform runs a machine learning algorithm on the historical data to generate a prediction classifier. The prediction classifier relates to a time window for prediction into the future, on the order of minutes or hours. The prediction classifier is run on monitored data from ongoing activity with a cloud provider to generate a risk score. Each risk score may identify an amount of risk that a spare cloud resource related to new resource metrics data will be interrupted within the future time frame corresponding to that prediction classifier. If predicted to be interrupted, the customer may be assisted in rebalancing to other resources. As a result, interruptions can be predicted hours into the future.

Abstract: Various catheters with expandable and contractible fluid pathways extending therethrough, and methods of use, are provided herein. In an exemplary embodiment, a catheter is provided with an elongate body having an electrode at the distal end thereof. One or more expandable members or wings can extend between the electrode and the distal end of the elongate body. The catheter can also include an actuator extending therethrough and coupled to the electrode such that movement of the actuator is effective to advance and retract the electrode, thereby moving the one or more expandable members between a collapsed configuration and an expanded configuration. The catheter can also include a fluid sealed lumen formed therein and configured to receive fluid and to deliver fluid to one or more pathways formed in the electrode. The actuator can extend through the fluid sealed lumen, however it can be fluidly separated from the lumen.

  • Patent number: 10708246
Abstract: An apparatus and a corresponding method. The apparatus includes an injection module operable to maintain packet sequence numbers for a group of network devices, receive a first packet and a second packet that is sent from the apparatus after the first packet and destined for a different device in the group than the first packet, and update the packets with different packet sequence numbers. The packet sequence number for the second packet is generated using the packet sequence number for the first packet. The apparatus further includes an encryption module operable to determine an initialization vector for each packet sequence number and apply an encryption algorithm to each packet. Each packet is encrypted using a corresponding initialization vector and an encryption key as inputs to the encryption algorithm.
