Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products are disclosed for determining a power curve for a fluid turbine. Determining a power curve for a fluid turbine includes receiving an indication of a fluid speed condition; if a predetermined load compliant with an MPPT protocol for the fluid turbine operating under the fluid speed condition is available, obtaining the predetermined load; and applying the predetermined load to the fluid turbine, thereby adjusting a rotational velocity in accordance with the MPPT protocol and the fluid speed condition; if the predetermined load is unavailable, applying a plurality of candidate loads in an iterative manner in accordance with the MPPT protocol and the fluid speed condition; determining an MPPT-compliant load that generates greater power; applying the MPPT-compliant load to the fluid turbine; and storing the MPPT-compliant load in association with the fluid speed condition for subsequent application.

  • Patent number: 11972095
Abstract: Various embodiments discussed herein enable client applications to be heavily integrated with a voice assistant in order to perform commands associated with voice utterances of users via voice assistant functionality and also seamlessly cause client applications to automatically perform native functions as part of executing the voice utterance. Such heavy integration also allows particular embodiments to support multi-modal input from a user for a single conversational interaction. In this way, client application user interface interactions, such as clicks, touch gestures, or text inputs are executed alternative or in addition to the voice utterances.

  • Publication number: 20240004681
Abstract: A virtualized computing service provides a computing instance capable of requesting attestation of the authenticity of the hypervisor implementing the computing instances. An attestation device included in a virtualization host maintains a log of hash values representing hypervisor versions that have been implemented at the virtualization host. Also, an independent auditor (e.g., attestation service) is provided software configurations that are known to be authentic. The independent auditor generates hash values for the authentic hypervisor versions. The computing instance receives a response from the local attestation device indicating hash values of hypervisor versions currently and/or previously deployed on the virtualization host, and the computing instance forwards the hash values to the independent auditor to authenticate that they match the hash values of the known authentic hypervisor versions.
