    Abstract: Solutions to the problems of scuffing and chipping of the paint films in high traffic areas and in tight spaces, such as dressing rooms in department stores, where multiple scrapings of the wall paints are created by consumers, clothes hangers, shoes, etc., and hallways and conference rooms in office and other commercial buildings are disclosed. Wax seeded latex polymers admixed with an added wax in architectural compositions and optionally with polyurethane resin are utilized to create paint films that are resistant to scuffing and chipping.

    Abstract: In one embodiment, a modeling process adds unique numbers for field welds or flange bolt-up connections to a virtual construction model of an infrastructure construction project. Based on the virtual construction model and a fabrication data file that describes a portion of the infrastructure construction project, a QC drawing generation process generates a QC drawing for the portion of the infrastructure construction project that includes balloons linked to locations of field welds or flange bolt-up connections, each balloon including the unique number of a corresponding field weld or flange bolt-up connection. A copy of the QC drawing is provided to a field inspection worker. Subsequently, a marked-up copy of the QC drawing is received back that includes field inspection results associated with the unique number of each field weld or flange bolt-up connection. The marked-up copy may be maintained in a document control system.

An exemplary method comprises introducing an explosive system into a wellbore in a geologic formation, detonating the explosive system in the wellbore to fracture at least a first portion of the geologic formation adjacent to the wellbore, and introducing pressurized fluid into the wellbore to enhance the fracturing of the first portion of the geologic formation. Such multi-stage fracturing can further enhance the resulting fracturing of geologic formation relative to explosive fracturing alone.

Network efficiency can be enhanced by using two-level encryption, a first level of encryption based on permissions to join a mesh network and a simpler second level of encryption based on knowledge shared with members of the network for communication. Making the permissions a function of location can make the network more robust. Re-authenticating member peers based on the occurrence of defined events can further enhance security.
