Further, the article provides a relatively smooth apertured outer layer and a relatively coarse underlying layer whereby a user can, with the application of varied amounts of pressure, more readily achieve and control a wider range of mechanical cleaning and/or exfoliating action against the skin. In certain aspects, the article may also be impregnated with one or more topical skin cleaning and/or exfoliating compounds.

The pouch has a front wall, a back wall, and an interior space therebetween. The dispenser includes a dispensing opening formed in the front wall. The dispensing opening has a width that extends in the width dimension, and the dispensing opening defines a midpoint along its width. The dispenser includes a seam that extends generally in a length dimension and that is disposed generally at the pouch top. The seam can be opened to an open position and resealed to a closed position to connect the front wall to the back wall. The seam defines a seam inner edge and a seam outer edge. The midpoint of the dispensing opening is disposed closer to the bottom edge than to the seam inner edge.

Abstract: A refillable dispenser for pre-moistened wipes includes a flexible pouch. The pouch has a front wall, a back wall, and an interior space therebetween. A dispensing opening is formed in the front wall, and a movable cover can cover the dispensing opening. The dispenser includes a seam that can be opened to an open position and resealed to a closed position to connect the front wall to the back wall. The open position defines a refill opening. The front wall and the back wall are each formed from a flexible material having a bending resistance of between 21.0 milligrams of force and about 300 milligrams of force. In particular embodiments, the flexible material has a thickness of at least 5.0 mils.

Abstract: To better facilitate the application and removal of make-up on the skin, including on the face, and especially around the eyes, the present invention provides a wiping product having two or more lobes which substantially conform to both the user's finger and the area around the user's eyes. The wiping product is not secured to the user's finger or worn like a glove, but rather is simply supported by one or more fingers in use. In this manner, the wiping product is both simple to use and provides excellent application and removal of make-up in often hard to reach areas, such as the recesses of the eyes.
