Publication number: 20260165407Abstract: A pod attachment system for headgear is disclosed. The pod attachment system includes a pod mount that can be coupled to a helmet shell and a pod, for example an electronics pod such as a sensor pod, that can be removably attached to the pod mount. A user can attach a pod to the pod mount and can remove the pod from the sensor pod mount. The pod mount includes a mechanical interface for attaching the pod to the pod mount. The mechanical interface includes one or more guiding features that cooperate with one or more locating features of the sensor pod to aid the user in attaching the pod to the sensor mount. The pod includes a locking component for securing the sensor pod on the pod mount. The pod attachment system may include an electrical interface for electrically coupling the pod to the pod mount for exchange of communication and power signals therebetween.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 15, 2025Publication date: June 18, 2026Applicant: GALVION LTD.Inventors: Jonathan ANDREE, Stéphane LEBEL, James BAKER, JR., John MUNROE, Gregory Scott HOWE

Patent number: 12634172Abstract: There are provided techniques for transmitting, receiving and coordinating pilot sequences, and for evaluating channel properties. A pilot signal may comprise a pilot sequence, which comprises a plurality of symbols with: at least one first set of equally spaced symbols, and at least one second set of equally spaced symbols, the symbols of the at least one second set of equally spaced symbols being inserted in between the symbols of the at least one first set of equally spaced symbols, It is possible to select: the at least one first set of equally spaced symbols in such a way that each first set of equally spaced symbols represents a respective first code and the at least one second set of equally spaced symbols in such a way that each second set of equally spaced symbols represents a respective second code. each first code and each second code may be selected from a set of codes in which each code of the set of codes is orthogonal to at least one other code of the set of codes.Type: GrantFiled: March 1, 2024Date of Patent: May 19, 2026Assignee: Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft zur Foerderung der angewandten Forschung e.V.Inventors: Jonathan Andree, Malte Hinrichs, Kai Lennert Bober, Volker Jungnickel

Publication number: 20250278069Abstract: A bridge system includes messaging middleware that is configured to operate on a multi-protocol soldier personal area network (PAN) and to enable sharing of data with multiple applications in an Android OS. The bridge system is implemented on smart and semi-smart multi-protocol hubs and is used to support sharing of live power data between PAN components. The data is displayed to a user on a user interface and is used by components of the system to model and predict power requirements and power usage of the PAN components.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 19, 2025Publication date: September 4, 2025Applicant: GALVION LTD.Inventors: Christopher Martin MOORE, Jonathan ANDREE, Harrison WALL, James David KAZMIERCZAK, Kurt HARRISON

Publication number: 20250216999Abstract: A screen as a service platform provides a common interface between a user and a plurality of data source endpoints. The common interface allows the data source endpoints to efficiently source data to a user via a shared display. The system includes one or more data source endpoints, a network, a display device, and a screen as a service (SaS) engine. The screen as a service (SaS) engine provides a uniform platform to integrate data source endpoints into a system and to aggregate and manage data produced by the data source endpoints.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 27, 2024Publication date: July 3, 2025Applicant: GALVION LTD.Inventor: Jonathan ANDREE

Publication number: 20230367284Abstract: A power tracking system includes a power application that receives live power data from multiple power devices that are operably connected to a personal area network (PAN) during operation of the PAN. The system stores the live power data and uses historical power data that includes previously collected live power data corresponding to the multiple power devices that was collected during previous operations to generate prediction data, including a predicted runtime of the PAN. The live power data and prediction data are displayed to a user on a user interface and is used by components of the system to model and predict power requirements and power usage of the PAN components.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 16, 2023Publication date: November 16, 2023Applicant: GALVION LTD.Inventors: Christopher MOORE, Jonathan ANDREE, Harrison WALL, James David KAZMIERCZAK, Kurt HARRISON
