  • Publication number: 20260315264
Abstract: An orthopedic brace includes a first and second lateral brace assemblies. The first lateral brace assembly features a first telescopic brake assembly and a second telescopic brake assembly. Both telescopic brake assemblies include a telescopic casing, a first strap fastening subassembly integrated as part of the telescopic casing and a second strap fastening subassembly that is coupled to the telescopic casing and a strut longitudinally movable within the corresponding telescopic casing. The second lateral brace assembly features multiple telescopic brake assemblies, where each of these telescopic brake assemblies include a telescopic casing, a first strap retention subassembly integrated as part of the telescopic casing and a second strap retention subassembly coupled to the telescopic casing and a strut longitudinally movable within the telescopic casing.

  • Publication number: 20260315263
Abstract: A telescopic brake assembly is described for deployment on an orthopedic brace, The telescopic brake assembly features a case, brake pads, and a tightening lever. The casing includes a raised attachment region extending from a top surface of the casing and rail members positioned as part of a bottom surface of the casing. The rail members are configured to receive a strut member longitudinally moveable therein. The brake pads are at least partially inserted within a corresponding cavities formed within the casing and positioned laterally from the raised attachment region. Positioned toward a proximal end of the casing, the tightening lever including arms rotatably attached to the raised attachment region. A first arm includes a cam configured to apply a downward force against a first brake pad when the arm is placed into a locked state to prevent longitudinal movement of the strut member.

  • Publication number: 20260318374
Abstract: A telescopic brake assembly features a telescopic casing, a pair of brake pads, and a tightening lever. The telescopic casing includes a first cavity, a second cavity, and a raised attachment region extending from a top surface of the telescopic casing. A first brake is partially inserted within the first cavity, and a second brake pad is partially inserted within the second cavity. The tightening lever including a pair of arms rotatably attached to the raised attachment region, including both the first and second arms extending outwardly towards a proximal end of the telescopic casing from a single point of intersection. The single point of intersection includes a snap lock configured to engage with a protrusion positioned along a distal edge of the raised attachment region to necessitate more force in transitioning the tightening lever from a closed state to an open state than transitioning the tightening lever from the open state to the closed state.

  • Patent number: 11174686
Abstract: A threaded tubular connection for drilling or operating hydrocarbon wells comprising a longitudinal axis, a metal pin member having a tapered two-step wedge pin thread with dovetail wedge threads and a pin sealing surface located between the small and large diameter pin thread steps, and a metal box member having a tapered two-step wedge box thread with dovetail wedge threads and a box sealing surface located between the small and large diameter box thread steps, wherein the tubular connection is free from any final make-up stop shoulder defining a final make-up position for the pin member relative to the box member, the small diameter wedge thread set and the large diameter wedge thread set are dimensioned to have a first axial clearance and a second axial clearance.
