Patent number: 11955213Abstract: In clinical documentation, mere documentation of a condition in a patient's records may not be enough. To be considered sufficiently documented, the patient's record needs to show that no documentation drop-offs (DDOs) have occurred over the course of the patient's stay. However, DDOs can be extremely difficult to detect. To solve this problem, the invention trains time-sensitive deep learning (DL) models on a per condition basis using actual and/or synthetic patient data. Utilizing an ontology, grouped concepts can be generated on the fly from real-time hospital data and used to generate time-series data that can then be analyzed by trained time-sensitive DL models to determine whether a DDO for a condition has occurred during the stay. Non-time-sensitive models can be used to detect all the conditions documented during the stay. Outcomes from the models can be compared to determine whether to notify a user that a DDO has occurred.Type: GrantFiled: February 13, 2023Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Assignee: IODINE SOFTWARE, LLCInventors: Jonathan Matthews, W. Patent number: 11586741Abstract: A computer security system includes a test management system and associated communication architecture that enables creation of customized tests of computer security application features. A server stores a test script in a custom scripting language. The test script includes a set of control statements that may be organized in a decision tree to control facilitation of the test. Clients poll the server to independently obtain and execute the control statements. Execution of the control statements control which clients participate in a test, which feature will be tested in the test, and what telemetry data will be collected from the clients to evaluate the test. The server evaluates the telemetry data to determine an outcome of the test and determines whether to further distribute or roll back the tested feature based on the test outcome. The testing can be utilized to rapidly and robustly deploy features that will enhance computer security.Type: GrantFiled: August 24, 2021Date of Patent: February 21, 2023Assignee: Malwarebytes Inc.Inventors: Sunil Mathew Thomas, Jonathan Chan, Jonathan Eagan Rackley

Patent number: 10511634Abstract: A scalable cloud-based endpoint security system facilitates a security policy on a plurality of endpoints. Configuration data or commands for implementing a security policy are entered via a web browser of an administrative client device and received at a cloud server. An API server generates a message to a queue of a publication/subscription server that publishes the messages from the queue to one or more subscribing communication servers. A communication server sends the message to an endpoint targeted by the message via a persistent connection that the communication server maintains with the endpoint. In response to the message, the endpoint establishes a connection to the API server. The API server then distributes the configuration data or commands to the endpoint.Type: GrantFiled: January 29, 2018Date of Patent: December 17, 2019Assignee: Malwarebytes Inc.Inventors: Marcio Castilho, Kevin Breton, Jonathan Chan, Anupam Bandyopadhyay, Plamen Stoyanov
