  • Publication number: 20250061562
Abstract: Systems and methods for automated broken tool detection are provided. An example method involves capturing an image of a tool that is provided in a machine (such as a computer numerical control (“CNC”) machine). Using the image, a reference model for the tool is established. After usage of the tool, a second image is captured and the image is compared to the reference model using a machine learning model. For example, the comparison may involve comparing a geometry of the tool in the model to a geometry of the tool shown in the current image. Based on the comparison, it may be determined if the tool was broken during usage. If it is determined by the machine learning model that the tool is broken, then an alert may be provided to an operator of the machine. A user interface may also be provided that allows the operator to select a particular tool for analysis and specify a tool geometry change tolerance value.

  • Patent number: 11977556
Abstract: According to examples, an apparatus may include a processor and a memory on which is stored machine-readable instructions that when executed by the processor, may cause the processor to receive a request for result data from a requestor and determine queries to create the result data. The processor may determine a subset of a data set based on the queries. The subset of the data set may be displayed in small multiples by the requestor. The processor may output the subset of the data set as the result data to the requestor. In some examples, the processor may receive a request for additional result data from the requestor. The processor may determine a second subset of the data set to be displayed in the small multiples and output the second subset of the data set as the additional result data to the requestor.

  • Publication number: 20230406498
Abstract: An aircraft is provided which includes a fuselage having a first wing with curved wingtips positioned above a second wing having curved wingtips. Rotor assemblies located in between the curved wingtips of the first and second wing, are employable to both provide vertical thrust for vertical take off of the aircraft and auto rotation to generate electric energy to recharge an onboard electric power supply. The first wing may be formed in a V-shape, and additional rotor assemblies to provide forward and vertical thrust to the airplane can be included on rotatable canards.

  • Patent number: 11159194
Abstract: Front end systems with switched termination for enhanced intermodulation distortion performance are provided herein. The switched termination can be used on transmit paths and/or receive paths of the front end system to suppress impedance variation when the signal paths are inactive. For example, with respect to switched termination for transmit paths, a front end system can include a frequency multiplexing circuit connected to a band switch by a first radio frequency (RF) signal path and by a second RF signal path. The band switch selectively provides the frequency multiplexing circuit with a first transmit signal over the first RF signal path and with a second transmit signal over the second RF signal path. The front end system further includes a switched termination circuit in shunt with the first RF signal path and operable to turn on to suppress impedance variation when the first RF signal path is inactive.

  • Patent number: 10565979
Abstract: A noise cancellation system with harmonic filtering for a vehicle audio system may include at least one input sensor configured to transmit reference signals, and at least one input sensor configured to transmit at least two narrowband input signals each of the input signals including harmonic noise. The system may include a processor being programmed to receive the reference signals, the reference signals including at least two narrowband reference signals, receive the narrowband input signals, apply a gain reference control to the reference signals to determine whether the frequencies of each of the reference signals are within a predefined range of another, and remove one of the reference signals in response to the frequencies of each of the reference signals being within the predefined range of another to prevent common harmonic content from presiding on both reference signals during the algorithm adaption.
