  • Publication number: 20060262576
Abstract: An AC to DC converter comprises a bi-directional switch array converter which converts a three phase AC supply at 50/60 Hz to a high frequency single phase drive for a series resonant parallel loaded tank. The tank is transformer coupled to a rectifier and filter to give a high voltage isolated DC supply to drive a load. The switching of the converter is based on control of the resonant tank to operate as close to a desired tank reference voltage as possible.
    Type: Application
    Filed: March 30, 2006
    Publication date: November 23, 2006
    Applicant: E2V Technologies (UK) Limited
Inventors: Jan Przybyla, Jonathan Clare, David Cook, Patrick Wheeler, Maurizio Catucci
  • Publication number: 20060128586
Abstract: Detergent compositions comprising high efficiency lipase enzymes and particles comprising encapsulated perfumes. Preferred perfumes have a boiling point at 760 mm Hg, of 260° C. or lower and a calculated CLogP of at least 3.0. The encapsulated perfume particles are useful in laundry compositions in order to provide efficacious perfume delivery at all stages of the wash, particularly during the laundering stage.

    Publication date: June 15, 2006
Applicant: The Procter & Gamble Company
Inventors: Neil Lant, Allan McRitchie, Jonathan Clare, Philip Souter, Javier Medina, Zaiyou Liu
  • Publication number: 20060116304
Abstract: The present invention relates to perfume compositions that are especially useful for masking fatty acid odors, particularly short-chain fatty acid odors such as the odor of butyric acid, consumer products such as cleaning and/or treatment compositions comprising such perfume compositions, and processes of making and using such compositions and consumer products.

  • Publication number: 20050281066
Abstract: In motor control of electric vehicles, a snubblerless 10 KVA Matrix Converter uses discrete 65 Amp, 1200 Volt MOS Controlled Tyhristors (MCTs) to minimise commutation time and so achieve the optimum waveform quality, particularly useful when controlling induction motors in applications where the controller may demand very low output voltages. The matrix converter has significant advantages over the conventional dc link converter by eliminating the dc link capacitor.
    Type: Application
    Filed: April 15, 2003
    Publication date: December 22, 2005
Inventors: Patrick Wheeler, Jonathan Clare, Lee Empringham
