  • Patent number: 6923615
Abstract: A wind driven power generator is designed for mobile applications and locates the generator in a power housing at the base of the unit on an adjustable mounting arrangement. A lightweight high strength hollow column is supported in the power housing and supports a wind driven turbine at the opposite end of the column. A drive shaft within the column transfers power from the turbine to the generator and causes rotation thereof. Preferably the column provides the only support of the turbine and the column is not supported by guide wires.

  • Patent number: 6725784
Abstract: A work station system provides an interrupted expanse either side of the of the system allowing the free movement of workers therealong. Basically a worker cab be seated and move a chair along the system without interference with legs. Two longitudinal beams span the length of the system and cooperate with the end supports to form a box-like structure. The beam can be braced intermediate the length by bracing members mechanically fastened thereto, These components cooperate to form a base to which work surfaces are secured. Power and communication calling is provided in the center passage between the beams. A clear span in excess of four meters may be provided between the end supports.

  • Patent number: 6427608
Abstract: A modular counterline system disclosed which uses separate sections which can be offset, one from the other, to provide flexibility for initial design requirements as well as for changing the layout as the user's needs change. The system also accommodates the convenient capability to allow wires and the like to be added into a raceway or passageway without threading through ports. The system also uses opposed side frames between sections for partially defining the passageway.

  • Patent number: 5992810
Abstract: A height adjustable keyboard support for attachment to and support from a work surface comprising two mounting brackets for attachment to a work surface. A rigid subassembly has a pair of horizontally spaced pivotting support arms rigidly connected at one end thereof by an intermediate member such that said support arms maintain the relationship therebetween. The subassembly is pivotally secured to the work surface by mounting brackets. A tiltable keyboard mounting arrangement is located generally between the support arms and is controlled by a linkage. An adjustable in length link extends between the subassembly and one of the mounting brackets and maintains the subassembly in a desired position and allows adjustment of said position by adjusting the length of the adjustable link. The link can have one end thereof secured in a slot with gravity biasing the link to one end of the slot. The slot allows the keyboard support to move upwardly if required to avoid pinning of an operator's legs therebeneath.

  • Patent number: 5537290
Abstract: The present invention is directed to office panelling systems having a flat electronic display screen is supported to one side of an office panel, with the display screen visible to one side of the panel. An adjustable securing arm supports the display screen and is releasably attached to horizontal rails of the office panel. With this arrangement, the securing arm and display screen can be positioned at different angles and spacings from the office panel, utilizes space more effectively, and allows more efficient use of the work station for other tasks. In a preferred embodiment, the display screen can be released from the securing arm and separately supported on the work surface.
