  • Publication number: 20250136020
Abstract: An electronic control unit (ECU) for a vehicle, such as an engine control module (ECM), with a hinged design that can be conveniently mounted in an engine compartment where space is limited. The ECU generally includes a lower bracket with mounting and hinging features, an upper bracket with attachment and hinging features, and an electronic module with attachment features. The mounting features of the lower bracket enable the lower bracket to be stationarily mounted or attached within the engine compartment. The hinging features of the lower and upper brackets engage one another so that the upper bracket can hinge, with respect to the lower bracket, thereby pivoting the ECU between closed and opened positions. The attachment features of the upper bracket and electronic module engage one another so that the electronic module is attached to the upper bracket. A method of using the ECU is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 12285309
Abstract: Methods for automatically removing collisions between digital mesh objects and moving digital mesh objects between spatial arrangements. The collisions are removed from a set of digital mesh objects using a perturbation method or a mesh deformation method. After removing the collisions, the digital mesh objects are output in a state without collisions between them. The digital mesh objects can be moved between initial and final states based upon motion constraints of the mesh objects and interpolated states of them between the initial and final states. Based upon the constraints and interpolated states, a number of states for movement of the set of digital mesh objects is determined either collectively for the set or individually for each mesh object. The states can be used as digital setups for dental or orthodontic treatment planning.

  • Publication number: 20250133364
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for automatically transitioning between communication modes of wearable audio output devices based solely on acoustic analysis. The audio output devices may operate in one of three electroacoustic modes. In the transparency mode, an audio output device may pass through the speech signal of a nearby user. In the peer-to-peer mode, the audio output device may establish a direct low-latency radio frequency (RF) link to another audio output device. In the telephony mode, the audio output device may communicate with another audio output device using networked telephony. The disclosed methods and systems perform acoustic analysis of the near-field speech signal of a local wearer of the audio output device and the far-field speech signal of a remote talker to determine the best mode for the audio output device to use and to seamlessly transition between the modes as the acoustic environment between the wearers changes.
