Abstract: A method of operating a shopping complex comprising a plurality of independent retail outlets, the method comprises operating a conveyor system capable of conveying goods purchased in any one of the retail outlets to a plurality of designated locations in the shopping complex; and in response to a purchase of goods at any one of the plurality of retail outlets and at the request of the customer, conveying purchased goods using the conveyor system to a designated location in dependence upon the customer request.
