  • Publication number: 20250143817
Abstract: A surgical robotic system includes a robotic arm having an instrument and an instrument drive unit configured to couple to and to actuate the instrument. The system also includes a surgeon console having a handle controller configured to control the robotic arm and the instrument. The system further includes a processor configured to monitor a parameter of the instrument and select a power mode from a plurality of power modes for the instrument drive unit based on the parameter. The plurality of power modes includes a full power mode during which the instrument drive unit is fully powered and a low power mode during which the instrument drive unit is partially powered. The processor is further configured to set the instrument drive unit to the selected power mode.

Abstract: A surgical robotic system includes a robotic arm having an instrument and an instrument drive unit configured to couple to and to actuate the instrument. The system also includes a display configured to output a graphical user interface and a surgeon console having a handle controller configured to control the robotic arm and the instrument. The system further includes a processor configured to receive a user input from the graphical user interface, the user input selecting a power mode from a plurality of power modes for the instrument drive unit. The plurality of power modes includes a full power mode during which the instrument drive unit is fully powered and a low power mode during which the instrument drive unit is partially powered. The processor is further configured to set the instrument drive unit to the selected power mode.

  • Publication number: 20230346378
Abstract: A surgical robotic system for use in a minimally invasive surgical procedure includes a trocar for facilitating passage of a surgical instrument into a body cavity, and a reloading module configured to couple to a head of the trocar. The reloading module defines a channel that is coaxial with a channel of the trocar and includes a cartridge storing a plurality of surgical implants. The reloading module allows for an expedited loading of the surgical implants thereof onto an end effector of a surgical instrument.

  • Patent number: 6517840
Abstract: A process for recovering isoflavone values from a biomass in which the isoflavone values are extracted from the biomass with a selective solvent for the isoflavone values, solid isoflavone values and the selective solvent are contacted with a nonsolvent or antisolvent for the isoflavone value which is miscible with the selective solvent. Optionally the nonsolvent or antisolvent is admixed with water during the contact with the solid isoflavone values to improve the purity and recovery of the solid isoflavone values.
