    Abstract: Using geospatial context information in image processing is disclosed. Contextual information that identifies features in an area of earth is accessed. An image of the area of the earth is accessed. A mask is generated based on the contextual information. The mask spatially corresponds to the image and identifies at least one image portion of interest in the image and at least one image portion of non-interest in the image. The at least one image portion of interest is processed to detect a target depicted in the at least one image portion of interest.
