  • Patent number: 10483733
Abstract: A joint strip including a center trunk, at least one recess formed by at least one upper flange and at least one lower flange for use in bridging a gap in sheet metal, such as in cable trays, cable tray covers, or two pieces of sheet metal. The joint strip may include more than one recess. The one or more recesses are configured to accept, for example, a cable tray surface located at a gap between two cable trays. The joint strip can be inserted between cable trays, for example, without disconnecting the trays from each other or removed in existing cable trays without separating adjacent sections of cable tray or cable tray covers.

  • Patent number: 8784595
Abstract: A process for laminating at least one electrode sheet onto an electrically conductive support film is provided. The process comprises heating the electrically conductive support film and laminating the at least one electrode sheet onto at least one side of the heated electrically conductive support film. An apparatus for laminating at least one electrode sheet onto an electrically conductive support film is also provided. The apparatus comprises lamination rollers forming a nip and means for carrying the electrically conductive support film and the at least one electrode sheet to the nip formed by the lamination rollers. The apparatus also comprises a heater for heating the electrically conductive support film before the electrically conductive support film reaches the nip formed by the lamination rollers.

  • Patent number: 7194884
Abstract: A method of manufacturing lithium or lithium alloy anodes for electrochemical cells by an extrusion process wherein a lithium or lithium alloy ingot is formed into a thin sheet. The method is adapted to extrude thin sheet having a width exceeding the diameter of the lithium or lithium alloy ingot and enables the extrusion of lithium or lithium alloy thin sheets with more than one lithium or lithium alloy ingot. The invention also provides a die assembly adapted to allow adjustment and fine tuning of a die aperture while the extrusion process of a lithium or lithium alloy ingot is being carried out.
