  • Publication number: 20240122712
Abstract: Apparatus, for use at a valve of a heart of a subject, includes a first catheter, a second catheter, and a translation element. The translation element is connected to, and operatively joins, the distal ends of the first catheter and the second catheter. The translation element is operable to translate the distal ends laterally with respect to each other to transition the apparatus between (i) a first state in which the distal ends are held next to each other for transluminal advancement to the heart, and (ii) a second state in which the distal ends are spaced apart from each other for positioning at a first location on the annulus and a second location on the annulus, respectively. The apparatus is configured to, while in the second state, from the distal ends, anchor a first tissue anchor at the first location, and a second tissue anchor at the second location.

  • Patent number: 11026600
Abstract: An activity classification device is disclosed. The activity classification device comprises one or more motion sensors and a memory configured to receive signals from the one or more motion sensors. The device further includes a processor in communication with the memory. Finally, the device includes a classification algorithm executed by the processor, the classification algorithm for identifying activities that a user is engaged in. The memory may also record a user's activity log, calorie count and an RF module, which transmits the recorded data to a host either upon request or continuously.

  • Publication number: 20140244209
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for classifying an activity. A sensor tracks motion by a user and a classifier recognizes data output sensor as corresponding to an activity. The classifier may be trained or otherwise modified using received information, which may include data from the sensor or information from an external source, such as a remotely maintained database. The device may update a local or remote database using sensor data when in a training mode. The training mode may be implemented automatically when there is sufficient confidence in the activity identification or manually in response to a user input.
