Abstract: A method of dechlorinating skin, especially dechlorinating skin, hair and/or nails of humans including contacting said skin, hair and/or nails with an aqueous composition for sufficient time to reduce halogen effects on the skin, hair and/or nails. The aqueous composition includes at least water and an oil-soluble bis-ascorbate in a weight ratio of about 0.1 to 25% by weight of the total aqueous composition. The composition may be free of ascorbic acid, and the oil-soluble ascorbate is a bis or tri- or tetraalkanol ascorbate such as bisglyceryl ascorbate.

Abstract: A system provides information indicative of customer satisfaction respecting at least one service or sales provider, the system including at least one customer information entry component that provides customer input to a database supported by a financial service provider that assists point-of-sales or point-of-service payment to a site. The system can segregate or aggregate accumulated customer input data according to at least business one customer of the financial service provider. At least one business customer can access information from the accumulated customer input data that relates to data relating to that specific business customer. The system can provide alerts and/or can relate the data in its variance to the customer's historical average scores.

Abstract: A hand-held remote control device has a viewing screen that displays information, possibly including real time information available through reception in the television or reception available to the television. The remote control displays the information, which may be different than the information actually displayed on the television, including available menus and images of channels other than a channel being viewed on the television. The remote may switch functions among view only on the remote, control television only, or combinations of image/volume control on the television at the same time that remote viewing is enabled.

Abstract: An efficient sweeping device has a handle with a gripping end and a sweeping end. The sweeping end has at least a first brush head and a second brush head. The two brush heads are disposed so that a) when the sweeping end is pressed firmly against a ground surface ends of bristles of each of the at least two brush heads contact the ground surface; and b) ends of the bristles on each broom head contact the ground surface, with ends of bristles on the first broom head being more distal from the gripping end than ends of bristles of the second broom head. The first broom head may be able to pivot away from the second broom head when the device is held relatively horizontally over the ground surface.
