  • Publication number: 20240375798
Abstract: Systems and methods for high performance, professional-grade photography and filmmaking in a spacecraft during space flights are provided. The systems may include an imaging studio, which is a partially enclosed volume within a spacecraft. The imaging studio may enable photography during microgravity coast phases of space flight while allowing astronauts to tend to non-photographic activities. The imaging studio may allow for commercially-valuable imagery that includes a background of an illuminated, curved Earth horizon. Imagery may also involve, among other things, a unique microgravity environment. Such imagery, without use of an imaging studio as described herein, may otherwise require artificial visual effects that may appear less realistic. Additionally, the novelty of capturing images during an actual space flight may itself be valuable.

  • Publication number: 20210311394
Abstract: Silanol-containing organic-inorganic hybrid coatings on semiconductor substrates for forming patterns thereon. The present coatings can be produced by coating of semiconductor substrates with metal and silanol containing polyhydridosilsesquioxane resin solutions. Provided herein is also a method for patterning a metal and silanol containing polyhydridosilsesquioxane coated substrate with radiation of light at a specific wavelength, the method comprising the steps of irradiating a coated substrate along a selected pattern to form an irradiated structure with a region of irradiated coating and a region with un-irradiated coating and selectively developing the irradiated structure to remove a substantial portion of the un-irradiated coating to form a patterned substrate. The invention allows for obtaining a preselected silanol content polyhydridosilsesquioxane resin, and adjustment of the silanol content will make it possible to obtain a highly sensitive coating for application in EUV.

  • Publication number: 20200283568
Abstract: Provided herein is a bioresorbable polyester wherein the metal content of the polyester is >0 ppm and <40 ppm, a controlled release pharmaceutical composition containing such polyesters, and a kit for injecting a controlled release pharmaceutical composition. Also provided herein is a method of purifying a bioresorbable polyester with a metal content >0 ppm comprising the steps of: i) dissolving the polyester in an organic solvent to form a polyester-solvent solution, wherein the organic solvent comprises at least one heteroatom selected from oxygen, nitrogen, sulphur and phosphorus; ii) precipitating the polyester from the polyester-solvent solution by combining the polyester-solvent solution with an organic non-solvent, said non-solvent being an alcohol; and (iii) separating the precipitated polyester from the solvent and non-solvent to obtain a purified polyester.

  • Patent number: 9685932
Abstract: Provided herein are apparatus and methods for enhancing bandwidth in trench isolated integrated circuits. In certain configurations, an auxiliary trench forming floating regions between moat isolation regions can isolate parasitic sidewall capacitances of active device regions from ground or AC ground. In this manner the active device regions are merged by the auxiliary trench so as to improve circuit bandwidth and enhance circuit performance. When arranged or combined within a circuit branch, transistors within each floating moat can operate with relatively small parasitic displacement current and can have improved performance.

  • Patent number: 9147677
Abstract: Dual-tub junction-isolated voltage clamp devices and methods of forming the same are provided herein. The voltage clamp device can provide junction-isolated protection to low voltage circuitry connected between first and second high voltage interface pins. In certain implementations, a voltage clamp device includes a PNPN protection structure disposed in a p-well, a PN diode protection structure disposed in an n-well positioned adjacent the p-well, a p-type tub surrounding the p-well and the n-well, and an n-type tub surrounding the p-type tub. The p-type tub and the n-type tub provide junction isolation, the p-type tub can be electrically floating, and the n-type tub can be electrically connected to the second pin. The first and second pins can operate at a voltage difference below the junction isolation breakdown, and the second pin can operate with higher voltage than the first pin.

  • Publication number: 20040056333
Abstract: An integrated circuit is divided into a number of sub-circuits by isolation walls in the substrate. A conducting shield overlays every sub-circuit to form a grounded cage with the underlying substrate for trapping electromagnetic radiation generated inside the sub-circuit, and to prevent cross-talk between the sub-circuits.
