Abstract: A user interface, system and method for optimizing a patient problem list in an electronic medical record or electronic health record in which entries in the problem list are removable or otherwise editable if they were entered into the problem list longer ago than a limited duration window to which the entries are categorized. In order to determine that categorization, the problem list entries are mapped to concepts or lexicals of an interface terminology, which in turn is mapped to concepts of another terminology, and those concepts are analyzed with respect to one or more criteria used to establish the limited duration window.

Abstract: Systems and methods for using temporal objects for natural language processing. One system includes an electronic processor configured to receive a set of electronic records of a patient, where each electronic record is associated with an event of the patent. The electronic processor is also configured to determine a temporal statement and an associated element, where the temporal statement and the associated element are associated with the event. The electronic processor is also configured to determine a temporal characteristic for the event based on the temporal statement and the associated element. The electronic processor is also configured to generate, based on the temporal characteristic, a temporal event entry associated with the event for a profile of the patient and enable access to the temporal event entry.

The system is operable on one or more computers with one or more processors that are configured to construct a database of HCC signatures, each HCC signature including one or more ICD-10 and/or SNOMED codes, deconstruct a patient problem list within an electronic medical record or electronic health record to generate an identification of one or more ICD-10 and/or SNOMED codes included within the patient problem list, evaluate the identified ICD-10 and/or SNOMED codes against each HCC signature to determine sufficient matches to one or more HCC signatures, cross-check HCC concepts related to the sufficiently-mapped HCC signatures and eliminate HCC concepts already identified in the record to generate a group of at least one non-eliminated, sufficiently-mapped HCC concepts, and displaying the non-eliminated, sufficiently-mapped HCC concepts.

Abstract: Methods and anchor devices for repairing soft tissue with a suture are provided. An anchor device comprises an elongate body having a proximal end, a distal end, and a first lumen extending from the proximal end, the first lumen having at least one face which is sloped relative to the central axis of the elongate body such that the cross-sectional area of the first lumen decreases in the proximal direction. The anchor device also comprises a suture locking wedge movably disposed at least partially within the first lumen, the wedge consisting of a sloped face such that the cross-sectional area of the wedge decreases in the proximal direction, the sloped face of the wedge contacting the sloped face of the first lumen when the wedge is in a suture locking position, and a wedge lumen through the wedge located away from the proximal tip, wherein the wedge lumen is configured to allow the suture to pass through the wedge.

Care plans may include medications and labs, and each care plan entry also may be coded with an external terminology, such as RxNorm or LOINC.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and system for generating an online listing, such as a yellow pages listing, that includes information about an object, such as a business, and also includes at least one image of the structure containing the object. For example, the image may be a digital image of the store front of a business taken at a street view. Additionally, a user may select an image from a plurality of images that the user perceives as being an appropriate representative image for the business. Based on votes received a default representative image may be identified that is provided in response to a request for information about the business.

Abstract: A method and system are provided for collecting images of objects at geographic locations for publication in an online directory, such as online Yellow Pages. A camera and a GPS receiver, both receiving time information from a synchronized clock, are mounted on a vehicle. Time-stamped images captured by the camera and time-stamped geographic locations (e.g., longitude and latitude coordinates) determined by the GPS receiver are recorded. Each image is then associated with a geographic location based on corresponding respective time-stamps. Thereafter, each image is correlated with a street addresses based on each image's associated geographic location, for example by referring to a lookup table that correlates addresses with geographic coordinates. The address-correlated images may then be used in an online directory, where each listing (e.g., business) can be displayed with an image of an object (e.g., store front) taken at the address in the listing.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and system for generating a street map that includes a position identifier that identifies a location on the street map. The method and system may also generate and display a plurality of images representative of the location of the position identifier. A user may interact with a position identifier or one of several scroll icons to view images of other locations on the street map and/or to obtain driving directions between two locations.

The child safety seat comprises a cradle arranged for secure fitting to said vehicle seat, said cradle having a base part and an upright support part; a turntable, rotationally mounting to the base part of the cradle; and a seat shell, mounting on the turntable such that the turntable and the seat shell are rotatable in tandem relative to the cradle. The turntable also rotationally mounts to the upright support part of the cradle. There is also provided a cradle, turntable and seat shell for use in child safety seat as separate components, sub-assemblies or as a kit of parts. Seat belt tensioning means are also provided.

Abstract: A system is provided for providing location-specific images to a mobile device for display. The system generally comprises three components: a mobile device having a screen, a position identification system (e.g., a GPS receiver) that determines the position of the mobile device, and a database containing location-specific images taken at various locations. Each location-specific image is associated with geographic coordinates of the location at which the image was taken. Based on the position of the mobile device as determined by the position identification system, a location-specific image is selected from the database and displayed on the screen of the mobile device. For example, when a user is using the mobile device as a car navigation system, a location-specific image of the user's destination location can be selected and displayed when the determined position of the mobile device comes within a certain distance from the geographic coordinates of the destination location.
