  • Publication number: 20200265491
Abstract: Documents and data are analyzed to determine one or more data facets. The documents, data and other information contained therein may be presented according to statistically-determined groupings based on the data facets.

  • Publication number: 20200097717
Abstract: A system is described whereby a classifier can label pages of a document. Preliminary classification can be performed on a page-by-page basis based on the content and form of each individual page. The system can then perform a sequence-based classification based on the preliminary classification of preceding and following pages.

  • Publication number: 20130111588
Abstract: A method of detecting an intrusion into (or an anomaly in a behavior of) a target software system begins by instrumenting the target software system to generate behavior data representing a current observation or observation aggregate. The method then determines whether the current observation or observation aggregate warrants a second level examination. If a result of executing the first level detection algorithm indicates that the current observation or observation aggregate warrants a second level examination, the method continues by processing the current observation or observation aggregate through at least one or more second level detection algorithms to provide a second, more definite, fine grain indication of a possible intrusion.

  • Patent number: 8108929
Abstract: A target software system is instrumented to generate behavior data representing a current observation or observation aggregate. A method then determines whether the current observation or observation aggregate warrants a second level examination; preferably, this determination is made by processing the current observation or observation aggregate through a first level detection algorithm that provides a provisional indication of a possible intrusion. If executing the first level detection algorithm indicates that the current observation or observation aggregate warrants a second level examination, the method continues by processing the current observation or observation aggregate through at least one second level detection algorithms to provide a more definite, fine grain indication of a possible intrusion.

  • Patent number: 7120582
Abstract: The invention provides techniques for creating and using fragmented word models to increase the effective size of an active vocabulary of a speech recognition system. The active vocabulary represents all words and word fragments that the speech recognition system is able to recognize. Each word may be represented by a combination of acoustic models. As such, the active vocabulary represents the combinations of acoustic models that the speech recognition system may compare to a user's speech to identify acoustic models that best match the user's speech. The effective size of the active vocabulary may be increased by dividing words into constituent components or fragments (for example, prefixes, suffixes, separators, infixes, and roots) and including each component as a separate entry in the active vocabulary.

  • Patent number: 6112172
Abstract: A user searches searchable information representing underlying information using an interactive user interface, which indicates to the user which parts of the searchable information represent information in the underlying information that is of interest to the user.

  • Patent number: 6088671
Abstract: In a method for use in recognizing continuous speech, signals are accepted corresponding to interspersed speech elements including text elements corresponding to text to be recognized and command elements corresponding to commands to be executed. The elements are recognized. The recognized elements are acted on in a manner which depends on whether they represent text or commands.
