Abstract: A displacement sensor arrangement includes a generating device which generates a magnetic field having two mutually perpendicular components, one of which is perpendicular to a movement path of a body in a vehicle, and a first measuring device sensitive to the components of the generated magnetic field and designed to span at least one measuring plane and to determine a current position of the moving body as a function of respective value pairs of the two components. A second measuring device detects an instantaneous value of one of the two components and compares it with a threshold value to determine a switching point. One of the generating device and measuring devices is configured to be connected to the body to move relative to the others. The switching point is defined by a common alignment of measuring devices with respect to the movement path.

Abstract: A method for operating a snowmobile, measured values of measured variables of the snowmobile being determined in the continuous operation of the snowmobile, specific measured values of different combinations of individual measured variables of the snowmobile being evaluated on the basis of evaluation criteria to determine whether the snowmobile is being operated in an unstable driving state and a stabilizing countermeasure being taken if it is determined that the snowmobile is being operated in an unstable driving state.
