Publication number: 20240061643Abstract: Disclosed herein are computing devices, including playback devices, that are configured to facilitate re-joining of playback and other devices to a bonded zone based on the specific context relating to how the playback and other devices previously left the bonded zone. The computing devices may determine that playback devices that had been previously bonded in the bonded zone are now capable of communicating with each other again. The computing devices may proceed to identify how and/or why the playback devices previously left the bonded zone. Based on how and/or why the playback devices previously left the bonded zone, the computing devices may determine whether one or more of the playback devices should re-join the bonded zone. For playback devices to be re-joined to the bonded zone, the computing devices may determine audio content to be played back by one or more playback devices of the bonded zone.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 31, 2023Publication date: February 22, 2024Inventors: Maria-Jose Ramos, Jonathan Herbst, Justin A. Gallo, Ryan E. Kitson

Publication number: 20240015439Abstract: Examples described herein relate to transitioning a playback session between portable playback devices such as “smart” headphones, earbuds, and handheld speakers with playback devices of a zone-based media playback system. Exemplary techniques facilitate continuity of playback when transitioning between locations (e.g., from at home to on-the-go or vice versa) or between listening paradigms (e.g., personal or out-loud playback of audio content). An example implementation includes detecting a swap trigger, determining the source playback device(s) and target playback device(s), and performing a playback session swap between the source playback device(s) and target playback device(s).Type: ApplicationFiled: July 12, 2023Publication date: January 11, 2024Inventors: Dayn Wilberding, Youjin Nam, Tadeo T. Toulis, Jonathan Cole Harris, Patrick Devine, Nicholas A.J. Millington, Jodi Vautrin, Maria-Jose Ramos, Richard Bannon, Michael Sheldon, Ted Lin, Ron Kuper, Kirsten Lewis, Jake Harwood, Jonathan Herbst

Publication number: 20220066008Abstract: An example involves detecting, during a time period by a receiving device, an audio signal comprising a superposition of a plurality of audio signals transmitted by a plurality of respective playback devices. The example further comprises determining a time-frequency representation of the audio signal and obtaining data associating playback devices with respective reference audio signals, each reference audio signal having a predefined time-frequency representation. The example further comprises, based on the time-frequency representation of the audio signal and the data, determining that the audio signal comprises a superposition of a first audio signal transmitted by a first playback device and a second audio signal transmitted by a second playback device.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 30, 2021Publication date: March 3, 2022Inventors: Daniel Jones, Richard Bannon, Jake Harwood, Jonathan Herbst, Henry Sia

Patent number: RE49908Abstract: The disclosure generally provides proteins that bind two epitopes (e.g., a first and a second epitope) and that are bivalent for binding to each of the first and second epitopes. The disclosure also provides for specific binding proteins, including antibodies, which bind to a target protein. The disclosure also provides compositions comprising such proteins, nucleic acid molecules encoding such proteins and methods of making such proteins. The disclosure provides methods of inducing an immune response in a subject as well as methods for treating or preventing cancer in a subject by administering the proteins, nucleic acid molecules and/or compositions to the subject.Type: GrantFiled: June 30, 2021Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Assignee: MedImmune, LLCInventors: Srinath Kasturirangan, Changshou Gao, Godfrey Rainey, Michelle Morrow, Claire Louise Dobson, Stacey Drabic, Darren Schofield, Gianluca Carlesso, Kristen Pollizzi, Yariv Mazor, Michael Oberst, Scott A.
