  • Publication number: 20240134655
Abstract: A hardware-type-based multi-component personality configuration system includes a first component stock including first hardware type components having a first hardware type, a second component stock including second hardware type components having a second hardware type that is different than the first hardware type, and a component configuration system. The component configuration system identifies computing device order(s) for computing device(s) that include a plurality of components, and determines that a respective personality configuration in the computing device order(s) for each of a first subset of the plurality components included in the computing device(s) may be provided by the first hardware type components.

  • Patent number: 11190705
Abstract: An approach is provided that uses an array of LEDs to illuminate for digital image capturing. A system that includes a processor, a memory accessible by the processor, a digital camera accessible by the processor, a display screen accessible by the processor, and an array of a plurality of LEDs surrounding the display screen, where the array of LEDs is also accessible by the processor. Preferred image quality attributes are retrieved. Then a setting of a set of LEDs is made to a lighting attribute, such as color or brightness. Afterwards, the an image of a subject illuminated by the plurality of LEDs is captured and attributes of this image are compared to the preferred image quality attributes. Based on the comparison, the approach then adjusts the attributes of the set of LEDs.

  • Patent number: 10126940
Abstract: An approach is provided for establishing touch zones of soft keys of a soft keypad that is displayed on a touch-screen device. The approach identifies a fingertip size associated with a user of the touch-screen device. Touch zones of one or more keys are then established so that the size of the touch zones is based on the fingertip size.
