An aqueous gel mask kit is disclosed including the aqueous gel mask composition and an activator.

Abstract: A memory-shape skin-care composition, in the form of an oil-in-water emulsion, including a UV filter system, including avobenzone, octocrylene, and homosalate. The composition additionally includes a thickening emulsifier including a co-polymer including a stearate derivative and a polyethylene glycol derivative, a non-thickening emulsifier including a polyglyceryl stearate co-polymer, and a memory-shape material including a polyethylene glycol/hexamethylene diisocyanate co-polymer.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to cosmetic compositions including surprisingly high amounts of trifluoromethylphenyl valylglycine, which provides a variety of beneficial properties to skin. The cosmetic compositions include: (a) about 1 wt. % to about 25 wt. % of acetyl trifluoromethylphenyl valylglycine; (b) about 2 to about 30 wt. % of two or more solubilizing solvents selected from ethoxydiglycol, dimethyl isosorbide, triethyl citrate, isopropyl lauryl sarcosinate, and propylene glycol; and (c) optionally, water; wherein all weight percentages are based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition.

Abstract: A method of improving film integrity of a mask having alginate comprises (a) applying a mask composition onto a surface, said mask composition comprising alginate, one or more micas, and one or more solvents; and (b) exposing the mask composition to a crosslinking solution comprising polyvalent cations of one or more metals for a time sufficient to crosslink the alginate, whereby the mask is formed. A kit for making a mask comprises a) the mask composition and b) the crosslinking solution. An alternative kit comprises a) a solution comprising alginate; b) one or more micas; and c) the crosslinking solution.
