Abstract: A hand-portable drying apparatus and method for use in a damp or waterlogged room, the apparatus including a housing having a carrying handle, the housing containing first and second airflow ducts arranged generally parallel to each other and having respective air inlet and air outlet ends, the apparatus further including means to force air through the ducts and to selectively heat it in at least one of the ducts, and valve means within the housing to selectively direct air from the first duct to the second duct whereby to move air from within the room received by the first duct back to the room via the second duct or to expel air from the room via the first duct to outside the room and draw in fresh air from outside the room via the second duct.

Abstract: A method for graphically indicating presence, identity, and action with respect to a media post transmitted by a client device and displayed on a shared display. Metadata indicating the identity of a user is logically associated with visual media to form a media stream, which is transmitted to the shared display. The transmitted media stream is then decoded to recover the transmitted metadata. The media post is displayed on the shared display and the presence of a client device media stream, the identity of the current user of the device generating the stream, and an action associated with the user interaction with the client device, is then graphically indicated on the display, using the recovered metadata.

Abstract: Systems and methods for displaying news headlines are provided. More specifically, embodiments of the present invention relate to interactive streaming news headline displays. According to various embodiments of the present invention, news headlines and/or stories can be presented in ways that improve “glanceability” over conventional methods. Some embodiments provide for receiving electronic news headlines from one or more electronic news providers. The electronic news headlines may includes metadata describing one or more attributes of a story associated with the electronic news headline. A graphical user interface is presented to a user through a display device. In one or more embodiments, the graphical user interface includes a main window pane and at lease one auxiliary window pane.
